Care
To keep your jewellery in good condition please avoid the following;
Spraying perfume or other liquids containing any abrasive substances directly on to the piece. Please put your perfume on before your jewellery. This will prevent premature tarnishing.
Using your jewellery in water, be extra careful with enamel painted pieces, pieces with semi precious stones and gold plated pieces, they should always be taken off before you go in to water.
All Karin Andréasson gold plated pieces are plated with a 3 microns thick, 18ct yellow gold micro plate, also known as Vermeil.
To clean Sterling silver jewellery
Boil water. Line a pyrex glass bowl /tray with foil. Place the jewellery in the dish. Sprinkle over a healthy layer of Bicarbonate of Soda, poor the boiling water on top and leave to sit for 15minutes. Dry with cotton cloth.
Cloth polish when needed.
