When you make a purchase from Karin Andréasson Jewellery you can be sure that all your personal information is safe. I work together with a highly reputable 3rd party payment provider to ensure the security of personal data. Protecting our website customer’s data is of the utmost importance to me.

All goods must be paid for in full prior to dispatch. I will send you an email to confirm your order and this will form a legally binding contract between us. Only individuals aged 18 and over are entitled to enter legally binding contracts, if you do not qualify to enter a legally binding contract do not use this site.

2. Return/refund policy

My jewellery is made to order and so I do not offer refunds. Once the goods have been despatched to you they become your property. Once they are delivered they will be held at your own risk and I will not be liable for their loss or damage. If in the unlikely event of there being a fault with the item please contact me at karin@karinandreassonjewellery.com within 7 days of receipt of your item and I shall arrange for an exchange. Please ensure that the item is returned in its original packaging and unworn in a secure package. I will not be held liable for any damage caused to the item in transit, due to lack of due care on the part of the sender.

3. Prices

All my prices on the website are in British Pounds Sterling. my prices are correct at the time of publication and goods are charged at the price shown on the website at the time of ordering.

4. Delivery

Ones your jewellery is made your order is shipped with Royal Mail Special Delivery which is a secure, next working day delivery service and requires a signature upon arrival. It can take up to 12 working days before your order is shipped and it costs £6.80 per order under £100.00, any orders above £100.00 are posted free of charge. This is a secure, signed for service by Royal Mail for guaranteed next working day delivery. I will notify you when your package is due to be despatched, there will need to be someone at the address to sign for the parcel, otherwise Royal Mail will leave a missed delivery card and the customer will need to re-arrange the delivery with Royal Mail.

International deliveries within Europe are sent with Royal Mail, International signed for delivery and are charged at £10.50 per parcel on orders below £150.00, any orders above £150.00 are posted free of charge. This service requires a signature at the delivery address.

Other international deliveries, countries outside of Europe, are sent with Royal Mail, International signed for delivery and are charged at £13.00 per parcel, on orders below £150.00, any orders above £150.00 are posted free of charge. This service requires a signature at the delivery address.

Please note that some countries do not allow jewellery to be bought from abroad and delivered in to their country. This has to do with that particular country's customs regulations and this can change every 6 weeks. Therefore I don't know at this moment of time what the situation will be with a particular country in the future. To avoid any problems or disappointments, please contact your country’s customs and excise if you are unsure about these regulations. If there is a prohibition on jewellery being sent to your country, I will notify you as soon as possible and refund you for your purchase and postage, but please note there will be a small administration charge dependant on the original purchase price.

5. Duty

International deliveries from the UK, may incur customs duty and import tax when your parcel arrives in your country. As the buyer, you are the importer of goods and therefore responsible for any applicable customs duties and import taxes. This charge varies from country to country and it is charged by your country's customs and tax department, for further information about this please contact this department in your country. Karin Andréasson Jewellery can not be held responsible for any of the above charges.

I aim to despatch your order as quickly as possible, but please note that some of my designs will take up to 12 working days before they are dispatched as my pieces are made to order. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you would like to get an estimated delivery time before you purchase something from my on-line shop. Contact me on; karin@karinandreassonjewellery.com. If there is any extended delay I will notify you by email and you will have the right to cancel your order, or have a replacement item sent instead.

6. Tracking your delivery

If you do not receive your parcel within my stated delivery time you can contact me and I will provide you with a tracking number with which you can trace your parcel.

International delivery is the responsibility of the postal service in the destination country and Karin Andréasson Jewellery cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the local country postal service or customs checks.

7. Care instructions

Karin Andréasson Jewellery can not be responsible for any damaged caused to a piece due to lack of care or irresponsible wear.

To keep your jewellery in good condition and avoid premature tarnishing please avoid spraying perfume or other liquids containing any abrasive substances directly on to the piece. Please put your perfume on before your jewellery. Also remember to remove any enamel painted pieces, gold plated pieces and pieces designed with neon beads before entering into water, as using these pieces in water will discolour and prematurely tarnish them.

All Karin Andréasson gold plated pieces are plated with a 3 microns thick, 18k yellow gold micro plate, also known as Vermeil.

To clean Sterling silver jewellery:

Boil water. Line a pyrex glass bowl /tray with foil. Place the jewellery in the dish. Sprinkle over a healthy layer of Bicarbonate of Soda, poor the boiling water on top and leave to sit for 15minutes. Dry with cotton cloth.

Cloth polish when needed.

8. Liability

If the goods delivered to you are not the correct items you ordered or are defective or damaged I will have no liability to you unless you notify us within 7 days of delivery of the said goods.

You must comply with, and observe all applicable legislation and regulations, including obtaining any relevant import permits to purchase goods from my website. I accept no liability for any goods purchased by you in respect of any local laws regarding the import of any goods you purchase from me.

9.Security

Karin Andréasson Jewellery employs a highly reputable 3rd party payment provider to ensure the security of all your personal data. This payment method is extremely secure.

10. Privacy policy

This privacy policy sets out how Karin Andréasson Jewellery uses and protects any information that you give Karin Andréasson Jewellery when you use this website.

Karin Andréasson Jewellery is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should I ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Karin Andréasson Jewellery may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from May 2011.

If I have published any information incorrectly including pricing or other relevant information regarding jewellery descriptions or delivery times, or any other information, we reserve the right to cancel your order.

I will do so by notifying you by email and you shall have the right to reconsider placing your order again after being supplied with the correct information. I will at the point of cancellation either; refund any sum taken from your credit card as soon as possible, and within 30 days of your order; or I will offer you the goods at the correct price/description after which I will enter a new contract and will send you an email confirming the new order. In any event I will not be liable for any disappointment suffered, nor any further compensation.
