Care
To keep your jewellery in good condition and avoid premature tarnishing please avoid spraying perfume or other liquids containing any abrasive substances directly on to the piece. Please put your perfume on before your jewellery. Also remember to remove any enamel painted pieces, and gold plated pieces before entering into water, as using these pieces in water will discolour and prematurely tarnish them.
All Karin Andréasson gold plated pieces are plated with a 3 microns thick, 18k yellow gold micro plate, also known as Vermeil.
To clean Sterling silver jewellery:
Boil water. Line a pyrex glass bowl /tray with foil. Place the jewellery in the dish. Sprinkle over a healthy layer of Bicarbonate of Soda, poor the boiling water on top and leave to sit for 15minutes. Dry with cotton cloth.
Cloth polish when needed.
