Splash necklace
A necklace with a striking embodiment of playful design.
The centrepiece of this necklace is a hand-cast, irregularly shaped charm, which elegantly glides along a two-tiered silver chain. The lower part of the necklace showcases a Barley Corn chain, while the upper half is made from double fine Curb chain, creating a harmonious contrast. The necklace chain is made in Sterling silver and the Splash charm in 18k yellow gold vermeil*. Measuring a total chain length of 58cm and a charm length of approximately 1.5cm. Securing this piece is a lobster claw clasp, accompanied by my distinctive logo tag.

*Vermeil is where a thicker layer of gold, 14, 18 or 24 karat and no less than 2.5 microns thick, has been plated on to the metal.
Care
To keep your jewellery in good condition and avoid premature tarnishing please avoid spraying perfume or other liquids containing any abrasive substances directly on to the piece. Please put your perfume on before your jewellery. Also remember to remove any enamel painted pieces, and gold plated pieces before entering into water, as using these pieces in water will discolour and prematurely tarnish them.
All Karin Andréasson gold plated pieces are plated with a 3 microns thick, 18k yellow gold micro plate, also known as Vermeil.
To clean Sterling silver jewellery:
Boil water. Line a pyrex glass bowl /tray with foil. Place the jewellery in the dish. Sprinkle over a healthy layer of Bicarbonate of Soda, poor the boiling water on top and leave to sit for 15minutes. Dry with cotton cloth.
Cloth polish when needed.
